What Is a P-Shot?
According to the National Institute of Health, five percent of 40-year-old men and up to 25 percent of 65 year-old-men experienced erectile dysfunction on a long-term basis.
Although erectile dysfunction (ED) is not uncommon, it can be difficult to talk about ED, which can ultimately lead to depression and other psychological issues if left untreated. Fortunately, there are numerous treatments available that can reverse the effect of ED, including the P-Shot.
The P-shot, or Priapus Shot® has been a life-altering procedure for men living with ED or another sexual dysfunction. Besides boasting impressive results, the P-Shot is also minimally invasive and safe, with little to no pain or downtime. Learn more about the P-Shot benefits and the procedure below.
What are the Benefits of the P-Shot?
The P-Shot can be extremely beneficial for men suffering from sexual dysfunction. Just some of the benefits patients see in their member include:
– Stronger & straighter genitalia
– Increased circulation
– Increased sensation
– Increased size
– No lumpiness or nodules
– New blood flow and blood vessels
– Lasting effects up to 18 months
How Does the P-Shot Procedure Work?
The P-Shot procedure is relatively simple and only takes a few minutes in your physician’s office. The procedure starts with the application of lidocaine to the penis as an anesthetic. Blood is then drawn from the arm and placed in a centrifuge, which separates the platelets from the remaining blood. The platelets are transferred to a sterile tube where calcium chloride is added.
This essentially “tricks” the platelets into thinking that they are in the body and that the body is injured. This causes the platelets to release growth factors into the sterile tube, which is then transferred to a syringe and injected into the penis via a tiny needle. This process is called platelet-rich plasma, which you can read more about here.
